About Us - Over Ons

- Het domain Parkstad.com is in 1998 opgericht. Samenwerking is ontstaan tussen: Dirk Haagmans, eigenaar en webmaster van de website, Jan Engelen, schrijver van 3 fotoboeken over Parkstad Limburg en Ton Boersma, die met zijn firma Tobits onze hardware verzorgt.

- Dirk Haagmans: Sinds 1985 ben ik actief in de MSX-hobbycomputer wereld. De introductie van Internet en een warme belangstelling voor historie en actualiteit van de regio Parkstad, bracht mij tot dit initiatief.
Eenmaal de website online, verscheen een artikel hierover al gauw in de krant. Dit resulteerde in een IT-job en heb sindsdien al menig Intranet en Website ontworpen.

Dirk Haagmans: Since 1985 I am active in the MSX-hobbycomputer world. The introduction of Internet and a warm interest for history and topics of the region Parkstad, took me to this initiative.
Once the website was online, soon an article in the local newspaper had been published. This resulted into an IT-job and in the mean time I have designed several Intranets and Websites.
